These photographs were all made by bereaved parents and siblings attending the sessions “Exploring Grief with Photography” at our weekend retreat in May 2018.

In the workshops we explored  how we can use the emotive power of photography to acknowledge our feelings and to find meaning again in a world which no longer contains  our child’s physical presence.   We were looking for ways to represent our grief and what our child (both their life and their death) still means to us and in showing the world these photographs we are asking people to bear witness to our grief.   This helps us to validate it and to accept it for what it is.  Thank you for looking.
